Here’s what the current learning plans are for Clark, Champaign school districts

School districts in Clark and Champaign counties continue to adjust their learning plans due to the coronavirus pandemic to provide the safest and healthiest way possible for students to attend school.

All schools offer either in-person or virtual learning, but some are using hybrid/blended learning.

Nine of the 12 school districts - five in Clark County and all four in Champaign County - are currently using hybrid learning for the students that chose the in-person option.

Here is a list of schools and their current learning model:

Clark County

  • Clark-Shawnee: Students on in-person option are using hybrid learning.
  • Global Impact STEM Academy: Students are using blended learning through the end of the first semester on Dec. 18.
  • Greenon: Students on in-person option are using hybrid learning through winter break.
  • Northeastern: Students on in-person option are using hybrid learning through winter break.
  • Northwestern: Students on in-person option are attending classes in-school.
  • Southeastern: Students on in-person option are attending classes in-school.
  • Springfield: Students on in-person option are attending classes in-school.
  • Tecumseh: Students on in-person option are currently using hybrid learning through the end of the second quarter and beginning of winter break on Dec. 18.

Champaign County

  • Graham: Students on in-person option are using hybrid learning through winter break.
  • Mechanicsburg: Students on in-person option are using hybrid learning through winter break.
  • Triad: Students on in-person option are using hybrid learning through winter break.
  • Urbana: Students on in-person option are using hybrid learning through winter break.
