When deputies arrived on the scene they discovered that an underage drinking party was under way.
Amber Day, 18, of Springfield; Brooklyn Marquette, 19, of Fairborn; Rachel Miller, 19, of New Carlisle; and Brandon Thoroughman, 19, of Springfield were all charged with underage consumption.
Nicholas Anania, 22, of Fairborn was charged with public indecency.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, approximately three grams of marijuana was found under a vehicle, but an investigation did not reveal a conclusive suspect for a drug abuse offense. Deputies were unable to identify a male who fled the scene when deputies arrived.
Several arrests made in Urbana
URBANA — Several people were arrested over the Memorial Day weekend, according to information from the Urbana Police Division Tuesday, June 1.
They include:
• James H. Blakeman, 30, of 201 Fulton Ave., Urbana, on a charge of assault.
• Lauren S. Collins, 46, of 518 S. Main St., Urbana, on a charge of criminal damaging.
• Gerald Ray Dobie Jr., 33, of 4231/2 S. Kenton St., Urbana, on a charge of failure to appear.
• Brian A. Adams, 52, of 910 S. High St., Urbana, on a charge of disorderly conduct.
• Charles E. Holmes Jr., 43, of 7979 Ohio 55, St. Paris, on a charge of disorderly conduct.
• Christina J. Smith, 40, of 1060 S. High St., Urbana, on a charge of disorderly conduct.
• Kasey R. Bowers, 37, of 578 E. Court St., Urbana, on a charge of disorderly conduct.
• Lonnie E. Jeffries, 30, of 315 Stanton Ave., Springfield, on a charge of obstructing official business.
• Mandy L. Mellott, 25, of 578 E. Court St., Urbana, on a charge of disorderly conduct.
• Candis M. Vanpoppelen, 27, of 672 Hagenbuch St., Urbana, on a charge of driving while under the influence.
• Justin W. Williams, 18, of 215 E. Lawn Ave., Urbana, on a charge of driving while under the influence.
