A man who was riding his adult tricycle in the 1000 block of West Johnny Lytle Avenue about 11:50 a.m. Friday told police a man stabbed both back tires of the tricycle with a knife.
The suspect is to alleged to have approached the victim and claimed the tricycle was his. After a brief argument he stabbed the tires, deflating them, according to the Springfield police report.
Theft
• A Springfield man reported that his checkbook was stolen from his vehicle by a woman he knows and a check for $1,200 was cashed between 3 and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
