Construction begins on new car care business in Beavercreek

Construction will begin today on a new AAA location — which provides car care, insurance assistance and travel aid — in Beavercreek.

The new “one-stop shop” is located at 3321 Dayton-Xenia Road in Beavercreek, and is an expansion of the company’s car care, insurance and travel operations, according to a news release.

“AAA is known for providing world-class roadside assistance to stranded motorists, said Tom Wiedemann, AAA allied group president and COO. “We are excited that we will soon offer car care along with our traditional travel and insurance services to customers in Greene County and the surrounding communities.”

AAA Tire and Auto Service will provide car maintenance, diagnostic and repair service at the new facility with discounts for AAA members. The location will also have charging station to provide a way for drivers to power their electric vehicles.

Wiedemann said the location will offer a free self-serve station for drivers to check and add air to their tires. Construction is expected to be finished by the end of 2016, according to projections from AAA officials.
