Background/Overview:
Slice of Heaven Pizzeria was a blessing for U.S.A.F. Major Doug Couch (“Major Doug”) and his family. Major Doug occasionally thought about developing a business in Enon, yet he didn’t expect what would happen.
Fox’s Pizza occupied a large portion of the building on North Xenia Drive for a long time. In early 2016, Tyler Couch was driving by the place and noticed a “For Sale” sign on a door. He went home and told his father, Major Doug.

Major Doug telephoned the owner of Fox’s Pizza to ask about the terms of the sale. Within a few months, he and his wife, Brenda Couch, purchased two large side-by-side portions of the structure, and developed Slice of Heaven Pizzeria in order to represent the Couch family’s commitment to their Christian faith.
Major Doug and his older brother Kenneth Couch were born in Enon, and stayed connected to their hometown even when work took each of them elsewhere. Major Doug retired four years ago from the U.S. Air Force, with a Bronze Star for his 25 years of distinguished service. Now, he’s working with the AFJ ROTC (Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corp) at Tecumseh High School.

Kenneth completed his five-year enlistment in the U.S. Navy, and then worked 23 years as a shift manager for Papa John’s Pizza in Fairborn. Now, he’s the general manager of this Couch family-owned business in their hometown.
Tyler Couch is the manager, with Kendra Deal and Sami Ward as shift runners. Other members of the Couch family willingly help when called upon. Major Doug boasts, “Being locally owned and independent, and from Enon, we feel we have what Enon wants.”

Slice of Heaven Pizzeria has dining space for about 40 customers, including high chairs for the littlest eaters.
There’s one full-length pool table, one full-length air hockey table, and one Quarterback Challenge Football game for customers to play.
Military personnel and seniors will each receive a 10 percent discount, and on-duty law enforcement/EMT personnel will each receive a 50 percent discount on all food purchases.
To book a party, a two-day notice is usually enough.
Delivery service is offered, with a set fee of $1.75 no matter how big your order; yet, please allow 35 minutes for delivery.
