The “Empress of Soul” is coming to the Gem City.

Pop, gospel, R&B singer Gladys Knight is set to give an 8 p.m. June 20 concert at the Fraze Pavilion, a Kettering-owned venue located at 695 Lincoln Park Blvd.

Tickets will range from $30-75.

The venue also just announced that Dire Straits Legacy, which includes five members who toured as part of Dire Strait, will perform at 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 23.

The cost is $50 and $30.

Ticket sales for both concerts begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8.

Tickets can be purchased at the Fraze FanFare Store in Town and Country Shopping Center, 300 E. Stroop Road, online at etix.com or by phone at 1 (800) 514-3849.

Prices increase by $5 the day of the show.

A  seven-time Grammy winner Knight also has appeared in films and television.

She recently placed third as “The Bee” on FOX’s “The Masked Singer.”

Her hit songs include “Midnight Train to Georgia,” “Neither One of Us,” “If I Were Your Woman,” “I’ve Got to Use My Imagination” and “So Sad the Song.”

Dire Strait Legacy is expected to perform hits that include “Money for Nothing,” “Sultans of Swing,” “Walk of Life,” and “So Far Away.”
