Concours d’Elegance to feature Marmon, Morgan and Mini

Marmon, Morgan and Mini will be the featured marques for the third annual Dayton Concours d’Elegance at Carillon Park presented by Miami Valley AAA. In conjunction with the concours, the Marmon Club will hold its 29th Marmon Muster in Dayton. The concours will be held Sept. 20, while the Marmon Muster will run Sept. 19-23.

The Dayton concours weekend will kick off with a driving tour and visit to a local automotive museum. Saturday evening will feature a casual party, open to the public, on the grounds of the Carillon Historical Park offering a preview of automobiles, an automotive art pavilion, live music, food and beverages. Saturday evening’s Preview Party will be held from 6:30 to 11 p.m. Cost is $65 per person; reservations are required.

The concours will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday and will also feature live entertainment, an automotive art pavilion, sponsor exhibits, a variety of local food and beverages and all exhibits at the park will be open. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 3 to 17. Children younger than 3 are admitted free. A commemorative program is included with admission.

Nominations are being accepted for the 26 classes of automobiles and motorcycles to be shown. Entries are limited to 175 vehicles. For more information, visit www.daytonconcours.com or call (937) 293-2841.
