Total U.S. retail sales will grow 3.7 percent to reach nearly $5.3 trillion.
More people are using their smartphones to shop too. Mobile shopping will continue to increase, reaching $208.29 billion in 2018, up more than 32 percent compared to 2017. Mobile sales will account for half of e-commerce sales by 2020, according to the report.
