Ross Dress for Less at Dayton Mall announces opening date

The long-awaited Ross Dress for Less store at the Dayton Mall will open next week.

The off-price retailer similar to TJ Maxx and Marshall’s will have a grand opening Oct. 12, according to the Dayton Mall website. The store is filling a years-long vacant hh gregg box near JCPenney.

“We are extremely excited to welcome Ross Dress for Less to the Dayton Mall family of stores. This is a great addition to the center as they are one of the most successful and fastest growing retailers in the country,” said the mall’s general manager Dave Duebber. “We fully anticipate that Ross Dress for Less will become a favorite destination for area shoppers.”

A Ross Dress for Less also opened in Beavercreek at 2720 Towne Drive at the Shoppes of Beavercreek in July. That store was the first in the Dayton region. A Columbus store also opened in July. Before that, Indianapolis was the closest location.
