F&P America Manufacturing Inc., of Troy, was recognized for excellence in delivery, as was Industry Products Co., of Piqua, and TFO Tech Co. of Jeffersonville.
Amtex, of Lebanon, won an “excellence in value” award, as well as recognition for overcoming “extraordinary operational challenges,” Honda said in a statement.
Pioneer in Springboro also was recognized by Honda for overcoming challenges.
Setex Inc., of St Marys, received “corporate citizenship” recognition.
In all, out of 53 parts suppliers recognized by Honda, 20 are in Ohio, the company said. Out of 600 Honda parts suppliers in North America, Honda purchases parts from 150 Ohio suppliers.
Honda purchased $6 billion in parts from Ohio suppliers last year, and purchasing over the last five years exceeded $32 billion.
