Teachers who want to take advantage of the discount can take a school ID to Meijer and show the service desk for a coupon. More than 80,000 teachers in the Midwest are expected to take advantage of the deals on more than 300 items including notebooks, Crayola items, Elmer’s glue, Sharpies, Post-It-Notes, planners, memo boards and backpacks.
There is not limit to how many time a teacher can get a coupon.
“We recognize that teachers spend a lot of money out of their own pockets on school supplies, and we hope this offer will help,” said Brandon Pasch, director of back-to-school merchandising for Meijer. “Everyone deserves to enjoy their summers to the fullest, so our ‘all-summer-long’ offer was designed to allow teachers to save whenever is most convenient, and as many times as they like.”
