Educational toy store opening second location

Learning Express Toys will open its second Dayton-area location this weekend.

The nation’s largest education toy retailer will open Saturday with a grand opening event lasting through Sunday at the Deerfield Town Center in Mason, according to a statement from the company.

Kelley Stevens, owner of the Mason store, also owns a Learning Express Toys in Kentucky.

“I am so excited to bring Learning Express Toys back to families in this area,” Kelley Stevens said, “As a mom of eight, I truly value the assortment of unique toys and the convenience of free gift wrapping.”

The store is different than big-box stores because it has unique toys, gifts and exclusive products, according to the statement. The location also provides customized services like gift wrapping, in-store events, complimentary personalization on some products and a “birthday box” registry.”

The new store will be open Monday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. There is also a location on Alex Bell Road in Centerville.
