Graeter’s Ice Cream is beginning to roll out their always anticipated, annual “Bonus Flavors.”

The first of six Graeter’s Bonus Flavors is Black Raspberry Cookies and Cream, a fun and delicious twist on the shop’s signature black raspberry chocolate chip ice cream, according to a Graeter’s release. Bonus flavors are each considered a “while supplies last” flavor, and once the flavor is gone from scoop shops and online, the flavor is retired for the year.

Black raspberry cookie and cream was released on May 10 at all Graeter’s scoop shops. A new bonus flavor will be announced every two to three weeks, culminating with the last announcement on Aug. 9.

“A secret that remains under lock and key until the day it’s released, guests will be made aware of the new flavors via broadcast media, social media, local scoop shops, the Graeter’s app and online store,” stated the release.

Though the first bonus flavor is under a very limited release, Graeter’s spokesperson Kyle Staten said the option for a flavor to become a mainstay is always an option, but never a guarantee.
