DETAILED FORECAST

Skies overnight will stay mainly clear on this pleasant night with temperatures eventually falling into the middle 60s by morning, Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Brett Collar said.

MONDAY: Mostly sunny skies are on tap to start the new work week. Highs will be in the middle 80s.

TUESDAY: The heat and humidity build in. Highs will be in the upper 80s. With the moisture in place, a stray shower or storm is possible, but it looks like most stay dry.

WEDNESDAY: A few showers and maybe a thunderstorm or two is possible under partly cloudy skies. Highs will be in the upper 80s. Heat index values will be closer to the middle 90s.

THURSDAY: A cold front moves through and brings with it showers and a few storms. Highs will be in the mid-80s.

FRIDAY: Partly cloudy skies are on tap to finish the workweek. Highs will be in the middle 80s.
