Wright Patterson Air Force Base reports a tornado, according to the National Weather Service.
Base security forces are checking to see whether damage was caused by storms tonight.
"At this time, we do not know if a tornado touched down or not" on the base, spokeswoman Marie Vanover said late Wednesday night.
Wright-Patterson weathercasters issued a tornado warning at 8:33 p.m. The warning was extended at 9:15 p.m. and again at 9:35 p.m. An "all clear" has since been issued, Vanover said.
Also, a flood advisory has been extended until midnight for Butler, Montgomery, Preble and Warren counties.

A severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located two miles east of Lebanon, moving north at 15 mph.

A Tornado Warning is issued until 9:15 p.m. for Greene County. There are reports of a possible tornado sighting in the area of Old U.S. 35, according to radio communication from the Greene County Sheriff’s Office.
Jason Slyger, of Sabina, said he saw a tornado touch down near Jeffersonville and the Jackson Twp. line about 8:30 p.m.
“You see the storm, you see a V and all of a sudden you see debris in the air,” he said.
He declined to be live on the air.

A Tornado Warning was issued for Preble County through 6:45 p.m. by the NWS. A severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado is near Gratis, moving north at 10 mph.

Flowing water was reported over a portion of Cincinnati Brookville Road near Shandon at 5:46 p.m., a trained spotter told the NWS.
EARLIER REPORT
A Flash Flood Warning is in effect through 8:30 p.m. For Butler County, issued by the National Weather Service in Wilmington.
Runoff from excessive rainfall will cause flash flooding to occur, the NWS reported. The weather service urges residents to move to higher ground and to not drive through flooded roadways.
A Flash Flood Watch is in effect until noon Thursday for Butler, Darke, Preble and Wayne (Indiana) counties, issued by the NWS. A series of showers and thunderstorms will likely train over the same area through Thursday morning. This will allow for rainfall totals up to 3 inches in places, which may result in flooding.
In addition, a Flood Advisory is in effect until 8 p.m. for Butler County, issued by the NWS.
