Wintry weather returns as temps drop overnight

DETAILED FORECAST

Clouds will increase overnight with a chance for snow showers or flurries developing toward morning, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said. Temperatures will drop into the lower to middle 40s.

Thursday: Look for a mix or snow and rain showers. Little or no snow accumulation is expected. It will be blustery with highs in the upper 30s.

Friday: Scattered snow showers will be possible, especially in the morning. Gusty winds could reduce visibility with snow showers early in the day. Temperatures will hold in the lower 30s.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy skies and blustery, chilly weather will start the weekend. A few flurries will be possible. Highs will be near 30 degrees.

Sunday: Scattered snow showers will become likely by afternoon. Some light accumulation is possible. Highs will hold to around 30 degrees.

Monday: Clouds will break for some sunshine in the afternoon. It will remain chilly with highs in the lower 30s.
