Xavier, UC work to keep Crosstown Shootout alive

The Xavier and Cincinnati men’s basketball teams have played each other 80 times, and would like to keep their series going beyond their Dec. 14 matchup at U.S. Bank Arena.

School officials have not decided on whether to continue playing at a neutral site or return to campus after a 2011 brawl nearly halted the series.
