About Wright State: The Raiders, who are 13th in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 (the only Horizon League team ranked), have started 3-0 or better in the league only two other times this decade, going 4-0 in 2012-13 and reaching 7-0 in 2017-18. … Heading into Friday's game at Oakland, Nagy was apprehensive about having to play four straight games on the road, saying: "People are at the point where they're getting a little tired of us (winning). We're going to have to be sharp every night because we're going to get everybody's best. We're going to have to handle that pressure and, so far, I think our guys are doing that." … As a freshman last season, Antoine Davis scored 48 points, going 15 of 24 from the field, 10 of 15 on 3s and 8 of 9 on free throws, against Wright State. The Raiders, who lost 79-58, weren't pleased Davis stayed in the game until the end hoisting shots. They held him to a season-low 17 points on 7-of-18 shooting in an 83-60 win in the rematch at the Nutter Center.

About Detroit Mercy: The Titans, picked eighth in the league preseason poll, are coming off a 66-58 win at home over Northern Kentucky. They lost to No. 1 Gonzaga, 93-72, in Spokane, Wash., on Monday. They also fell to Notre Dame, North Carolina State and Clemson. Their other wins came against UC Irvine in Las Vegas and Southern Illinois-Edwardsville at home. … They're allowing 79.2 points per game and scoring 67.2, but they're among the national leaders in foul shooting (78.4 percent). … After finishing 11-20 last season, they added five players through transfers, including Brad Calipari, the son of Kentucky coach John Calipari. … The Titans are the only Division I men's team banned this year from the NCAA tourney because of low Academic Progress Rate scores.

Coming up: The Raiders will play at IUPUI at 7 p.m. Friday and at UIC at 4:15 p.m. Sunday. Their next home game is against Cleveland State at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16.
