Sectional softball final postponed until Wednesday

Heavy rain caused the postponement of the Kenton Ridge vs. Northwestern softball Division II sectional final.

The game was scheduled to be played at 5 p.m. Tuesday in Urbana and will now be played at 5 p.m. Wednesday in Urbana.

Kenton Ridge (21-1), which won the Central Buckeye Conference Kenton Trail Division, is the No. 1 seed in the sectional. Northwestern (18-7), the champion of the CBC Mad River Division, is the No. 2 seed. Kenton Ridge beat Northwestern 5-3 on April 19 in the regular season.
