The Cincinnati Bengals are still searching for a defensive coordinator.
University of Florida defensive coordinator Todd Grantham has pulled himself out consideration, according to multiple reports.

Grantham was thought to the be the favorite to run new coach Zac Taylor’s defense.

The Cincinnati Bengals could be close to hiring a defensive coordinator.

The team is zeroing on University of Florida defensive coordinator Todd Grantham, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.

The Bengals last season ranked last in the NFL in yards allowed per game (413.6) and 30th (out of 32) in points allowed per game (28.4).

Grantham, 52, has 11 years of NFL experience, including three seasons (2005-07) as the Browns defensive coordinator. He’s spent the last nine seasons as a defensive coordinator in college, including last season at the University of Florida.
