Falcons girls 4th after first day of state golf

COLUMBUS — The Graham High School girls golf team is in fourth place after the first round of the Division II state tournament at the Ohio State University Gray Golf Course on Friday, Oct. 16.

Junior Jessie Jordan is tied for 20th with a score of 85. Junior Lindsey Phillips shot an 88, which is tied for 29th. Senior Gretchen Greenlee finish tied for 33rd with a score of 89. Senior Ellia Sliwiak posted a 90 to finish tied for 35th as the Falcons carded a 352.

Defending champion Poland Seminary is in first place with a score of 326. Chardon Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin is in second place (332) and Shaker Heights Hathaway Brown is in third (349).

Graham was in fourth place after the first round in 2008 with a score of 349.
