Former OSU coach lands at Emerson

BOSTON — Out of coaching since Ohio State fired him in 2004 for giving money to a recruit, Jim O’Brien has returned to the profession as the Emerson College men’s basketball coach. Emerson is a NCAA Division III school in Boston, where O’Brien has lived since leaving Columbus. He coached at Boston College for 11 years before he was hired by Ohio State in 1997.
