Wittenberg baseball coach Jay Lewis steps down after 20 seasons

Wittenberg Tigers baseball coach Jay Lewis has stepped down after 20 seasons to become the athletic director at his alma mater, Graham High School, Wittenberg announced Tuesday.

Lewis finished one game under .500 in his career, 379-380-4. The Tigers finished 12-27 this season. It was their third straight losing season.

Lewis is a 1994 Wittenberg graduate. He took over as head coach in 1997. He owns the most coaching victories in Wittenberg history.
