416 Diner, 416 E. Fifth St. in Dayton’s Oregon District, is one of a few places to serve up a Juicy Lucy in the Dayton area.

416 Diner's take on the Patty Melt, a customer favorite, is now on the regular menu for $10. It had been served as a special previously.
Also new is the Bacon C.C.R. ($10), a hoagie described as bacon and marinated chicken with Swiss and cheddar cheese; a candied bacon salad with seasonal fruit; The Landwich, chicken, bacon and pepperoni topped with feta, ranch, lettuce, tomato and red onion and The Full Monte.
“It is amazing. It is like lunch and dessert wrapped in one,” Fragmin said of The Full Monte, the 416 Diner’s take on the Monte Cristo sandwich.
“Sliced ham and turkey with Swiss between French toast with brown sugar cream and our house made jam.”
