Cooler today ahead of weekend warm-up

Some clouds break and it will be cool overnight with lows in the lower 50s. Areas of fog and drizzle are expected to develop, Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Brett Collar said.

DETAILED FORECAST

Friday: A cool morning in the 50s will be followed by a warm afternoon. It will stay dry with sunshine and some scattered clouds with highs in the low to mid 70s.

Saturday: A beautiful start to the weekend: highs around 80 degrees with plenty of sunshine.

Sunday: The day starts dry with some sunshine. Clouds will increase through the afternoon and temperatures will be higher than normal in the upper 70s. A cold front will approach late in the day/evening and bring the chance for scattered showers and storms.

Monday: It will be much cooler behind the front. The bus stop forecast is in the 40s with highs in the low 60s. It will be partly cloudy but dry
