A Springfield man was indicted in Clark County this week on charges related to child pornography.

David Kaufman, 25, was indicted in the Clark County Common Pleas Court on 10 counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor, according to court records.

He previously pleaded not guilty in Clark County Municipal Court to similar charges. Kaufman is listed as an inmate at Clark County Jail as of Thursday afternoon.

According to Kaufman’s affidavit, a black Android Galaxy cellphone was turned into the Clark County Sheriff’s Office on Oct. 20.

The sheriff’s office obtained a search warrant on Oct. 27 to collect data from the phone, and 100 “explicit sexual images of pornography involving children aged infant to young teen” were found on the phone, the affidavit said.

On Oct. 29, Kaufman was interviewed at the sheriff’s office, where he reportedly confessed to viewing and downloading child pornography onto his personal cell phone for more than one year, the affidavit said.
