Johnny Manziel is back in football, but to make his comeback he left the U.S. and headed north.

Manziel, a former Heisman trophy winner and Cleveland Browns quarterback, made his Canadian Football League debut on Friday night.

Manziel, who now plays for the Tiger-Cats of Hamilton, Ontario, completed 9 of 11 passes for 80 yards, but those did not result in any points for his team, ESPN reports.

Two of Manziel’s plays ended in third-down sacks, which according to ESPN is the equivalent of a fourth-down sack in the NFL. Manziel told reporters that he is still adjusting to differences in rules and timing between the NFL and the Canadian league.
