School boards in Clark, Champaign name presidents, vice presidents

Several school boards in Clark and Champaign Counties have held their annual reorganization meetings and appointed their president and vice president.

They include:

Clark-Shawnee Local School District

The board appointed Judy Pierce as president and David DeHart as vice president. The other board members include Susan Page, Michelle Garrett and Ben Galbreath.

Pierce is serving her sixth term, which expires on Dec. 31, according to the district’s website. She has been the Official Court Reporter for Clark County since 1980, has served in various parents groups in the district and graduated from Clark-Shawnee in 1976. She and her husband have three Clark-Shawnee graduates.

DeHart is serving his third term, which expires on Dec. 31, the website stated. He is a licensed CPA and School Treasurer and is the Audit Principal at Duvall and Associates, Inc. He and his wife have two daughters.

Northeastern Local School District

The board appointed Jill Parker as president and Jeff Yinger as vice president. The other board members include Joel Augustus, Jeff Collins and John Crankshaw.

Northwestern Local School District

The board appointed Kevin Macy as president and Joe Tedeschi as vice president. The other board members include Andy Gundolf, Leigh Ann Taylor and Karen Elder.

Graham Local School District

The board appointed Leslie Maurice as president and Karyl Strader as vice president. The other board members include Steve Setty, Robert Welker and Toni Kite.

Urbana City School District

The board appointed Darrell Thomas as president and Amy Paul as vice president. The other board members include Jim Arter, Sarah Finch and Jan Engle.
