All lanes are now open after a rollover crash on Interstate 70 in Clark County closed the westbound lanes of the highway on Sunday night.

The accident happened shortly after 8 p.m. on I-70 before the Enon exit near Ohio 4. By about 9:40 p.m., traffic was slowly getting through the area.

CareFlight was called initially, but an ambulance transported Grout to a hospital for treatment instead, officials said.

Grout was driving a 2004 GMC Envoy east on I-70 when he lost control and hit a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Benjamin Le Clerc, 30, of of East Millinocket, Maine.

Le Clerc swerved to avoid the Envoy and hit a 2015 Ford Edge driven by Sahajkumar Patel 35, of Columbus.

Grout drove off the left side of the highway, hitting the median and going into westbound lanes of I-70. The Envoy reportedly rolled over multiple times before coming to a stop on its side in the westbound lanes.

Grout was traveling at a high rate of speed at the time of the crash, according to OSHP, but further details were not released. He was not wearing a seat belt.

Le Clerc and Patel were not injured.
