5 planets still visible in the night sky

Have you noticed five brighter stars in the night sky lately?

Those would be planets: Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn, which have been visible, simultaneously, since late January.

These planets are rarely seen at the same time, but when they are it’s rather spectacular. All five planets will be visible through mid-February.

The last time these planets were seen together was back in January 2005. It won’t happen again until August 2016.

In her latest video, StormCenter7 Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs identifies the best times and places to see the planets.
