Woman dead after being hit, trapped under van in Springfield

A woman died after she was struck and trapped under a work van in Springfield on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Springfield Fire and Rescue Division.

The woman was hit in the area of East High Street and South Belmont Avenue, according to Springfield police.
