All candidates were asked to answer these questions:

John A. Boehner
Website: www.johnboehner.com
Bio: John Boehner represents Ohio’s Eighth District in Congress and serves as Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives. John is a former small business owner who is leading the fight for a smaller, less costly, more accountable federal government.
Answer 1: Our spending-driven debt threatens both job creation and national security. The more debt we rack up, the fewer resources we have for priorities like national defense. That’s why I’ve fought to stop Washington from spending money it doesn’t have, remove government barriers to private-sector job growth, and protect our critical health and retirement programs from going bankrupt. I also led the fight to ban wasteful ‘earmarks.’ And I’m going to keep working to stop policies that make it harder for small businesses to hire new workers, cut government spending, and create a better environment for long-term economic growth.
Answer 2: The most important issue is jobs. The president’s ‘stimulus’ didn’t work – in fact, his policies made things worse. As a former small business owner, I understand how bad policies make it harder to hire new workers. Employers throughout our district are struggling with excessive regulations and the threat of tax hikes. That’s why I’m focused on removing government roadblocks to job creation. And if given the opportunity to serve you again, I will keep working to get Washington out of the way of the robust economic growth needed to get our country back on track and Ohioans back to work.
David Lewis

Bio: Graduated from University of Cincinnati with BS in Information Technology. David Lewis is a devout Christian, Tea Party leader, and Pro-Life leader. David has a BS in Information Technology from the University of Cincinnati. David’s goal is to make it a criminal act to kill a child from conception until birth.
Answer 1: I do not believe that America should be in the business of nation building. America should go to war only by a declaration of war from the Congress.
Americans should not have a gun put to their heads by the federal government and be forced to pay for other people’s healthcare, retirement, or anything else for that matter. Therefore entitlements like Social Security, Medcare, and Medicaid should be phased out slowly with no change for current recipients.
Answer 2: The most important issue of our time is the killing of unborn babies by abortion. As a member of the U.S. House of Representatives I would work to make it a criminal act to kill unborn babies. I have produced hard hitting pro-life ads that can be seen at www.DavidLewisForCongress.com.
