Man suffers hand injury in Springfield workplace accident

Crews were called to Eagle Tool Wednesday afternoon for a workplace accident.

A man’s hand became caught in machinery shortly after 3 p.m. at the facility, 663 Montgomery Ave., in Springfield, according to Springfield police.

The man suffered a severe laceration and was taken to Springfield Regional Medical Center, police said.
