Working fire reported in Springfield

FIRST REPORT:

There is currently a working fire in the 100 block of South Burnett Road, according to Springfield dispatch.

The fire was reported around 3:55 p.m. and the fire department is on scene.

According to emergency dispatch reports, the first is on the first floor in the kitchen and people are trying to get their animal(s) out of the house.
