Overnight: Clouds will increase ahead of some showers and storms that approach from the west by sunrise, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said. Lows will fall into the middle 60s.

Wednesday: Rounds of showers and storms are expected. Some will move through first in the morning, following by a lull during the midday. It will be a muggier day overall with highs around 80 degrees.

In the afternoon and evening, a second round arrives and will move from the north to the south. Strong to severe storms are possible with damaging winds, hail, and heavy rain being the main severe threats. Areas south of Interstate 70 are in the best positions to see strong thunderstorms.

Thursday: It will be partly sunny with highs in the low 80s. It will be muggy and breezy with some showers and storms redeveloping. Any storms will be isolated and will mainly be in the far southern Miami Valley. Most areas will stay dry all day.

Friday: Some dry time is expected early with highs near 80 degrees with a mix of sun and clouds. Some storms may develop during the afternoon.

Saturday: Sunny skies give way to some clouds with the chance for showers and storms to develop in the late afternoon or at night. Warm and muggy conditions are expected again with highs around 80 degrees.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy conditions with scattered showers and some stronger storms are possible. Highs will be around 80 degrees.
