Troopers: Credit cards stolen from car parked at Buck Creek State Park; suspect’s ID sought

State troopers are asking for the public’s help to identify a woman accused of stealing credit cards, cash, and other items out of a vehicle parked at Buck Creek State Park.

A woman reported on June 16 her vehicle was broken into while parked at the state park, investigators said in a media release.

The theft victim reported her cell phone, credit cards, $50 cash, and documents with her identity were stolen from the vehicle.

Later in the evening, the credit cards were used at a Speedway and Walmart in the area, according to state troopers.

Surveillance video captured the suspect, described as a woman wearing a light blue shirt, gray or tan pants, with an ACE-style bandage on her right hand, attempting to use the cards.

Surveillance footage also captured the suspect driving away in a dark green Toyota 4Runner SUV.
