Tree limb falls, traps 8-year-old boy in Champaign County

A a tree limb fell on an 8-year-old boy, who became trapped underneath Tuesday evening in Champaign County.

Crews were called at 7:35 p.m. to the 1000 block of Bair Road in Mad River Twp. for the child, the Champaign County Sheriff’s Office said.
