A man was shot in the arm while driving east on West Main Street, which caused both his driver and passenger windows to shatter. He was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

A witness on scene said the shooter took off on West High Street in a gold car.
West Main Street at South Western Avenue was blocked in both directions for about an hour while police investigated.
Springfield police continue to search for the shooter involved.
