Springfield seniors can’t stop feeling the need to dance

A Springfield nursing and retirement center is the latest group to accept the “Can’t Stop the Feeling” lip sync challenge.

The challenge centers around Justin Timberlake’s newest hit single. Businesses, cities, schools and individuals have uploaded their own versions to YouTube and other social media platforms.

The video shows residents and staff members at Oakwood Village busting quite a few moves.

Oakwood Village’s Facebook page has been showered with comments including those of family members in the video.

“I’m so happy to see my grandpa in this video,” Ken Maddex said. “It brings me so much joy and happiness.”

Near the end of the video, there was a personal message inviting Timberlake to their facilities in Springfield. No word yet if the superstar has accepted their invitation.
