Springfield native, John Legend, is celebrating Valentine’s Day through a Facebook mini-series.

“Dear John: Legendary Love Letters” tells stories of love, family, and friendship from around the world.

“Love is universal, love is ever evolving, but it’s also a constant,” Legend said in the animated Facebook video. “It’s the thread that weaves through the world and connects us all.”

Legend published the first episode of the series on Sunday - featuring a couple that didn’t let a language barrier get in the way of their love.
