Springfield to host virtual commission meeting Tuesday

The City of Springfield will be hosting its commission meeting Tuesday morning via online.

The meeting will start at 10 a.m. and will take the place of the commission's regularly scheduled evening session. The meeting can be viewed live on YouTube.com/GATVSpringfield5.

In-person attendance is prohibited due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. However, residents who wish to participate are asked to contact City Clerk Jill Pierce either by email at commission@ springfieldohio.gov or by calling 937-324-7341 for additional information, according to a news release from the city.

Questions can also be submitted in advance to be read during the meeting. Those questions along with the resident’s name and address can be sent to Pierce no later than 9 a.m., Tuesday morning.

Questions without a name and address attached will not be read during the online meeting. Tuesday’s meeting will be recorded and made available for rebroadcast on local Channel 5 after the meeting, according to the news release.
