Planning to go to Big Lots this weekend?
If you are one of the first 100 customers at the Springfield Big Lots store Saturday or Sunday, you could receive up to $250 towards your purchase.
Nine Big Lots stores in the region will offer scratch-off tickets to the first 100 customers Saturday and Sunday to celebrate their store remodels, according to a statement from the company.
“We are excited to introduce our new store format to the Dayton Area,” Steve Haffer, senior vice president chief customer officer of Big Lots said. “It brings to life our new brand traits and showcases our product assortments of affordable solutions in Furniture, Seasonal, Home, Food, and Consumables.”
The nine stores featuring a new layout and design include Springfield, Piqua, Dayton, Trotwood, Huber Heights, Wilmington, Miamisburg, Middletown and Lebanon.
When customers check out this weekend, they can donate $1, $2, $5, or more to “Give Big for Kids,” a fall campaign benefiting Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
The money raised will support lifesaving research and care at the hospital. This past spring, Big Lots stores collected $2.6 million for Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
Big Lots is headquartered in Columbus, operating approximately 1,400 stores in 47 states.
The Springfield Big Lots is located at 205 E. Leffel Lane. Hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday to Saturday.
