Springfield among cities where teachers can enter to win free Bob Evans dinner

Springfield teachers can enter-to-win a free turkey and dressing dinner from Bob Evans Restaurants starting Wednesday, in honor of their back-to-school efforts.

Bob Evans Restaurants is giving away 799 free dinners to teachers as part of its “799 Ways to Say Thank You” giveaway.

“The start of the school year is hectic,” said Bob Holtcamp, chief marketing officer for Bob Evans Restaurants. “We want teachers to enjoy a warm, home-cooked meal for themselves and their families, leaving the cooking and cleanup to us.”

Teachers can enter the giveaway at www.bobevans.wyng.com/799-thanks starting 8 a.m. Wednesday until Friday. Winners will receive an e-gift card to redeem at their local Bob Evans restaurant.

Teachers who enter the giveaway after the 799 dinners have been claimed will receive a 10% off coupon, valid until Oct. 31.

Bob Evans Restaurants is launching this giveaway in select cities across Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana and West Virginia.

Springfield has three Bob Evans Restaurants. They are located at 1600 W. 1st St., 10 S. Tuttle Road, and 40 W. Leffel Ln.

Bob Evans Restaurants, a chain of family style restaurants with nearly 500 locations in 18 states, is headquartered and founded in Columbus.
