ST. PARIS — A portion of U.S. Route 36 will close later this week, according to a news release from the Ohio Department of Transportation.

The road will shut down Thursday, July 22, at the Indiana and Ohio railroad tracks just east of St. Paris, according to the release.

Motorists can detour at state Routes 235 and 29, according to the release.

Crews will be repairing the railroad tracks and Route 36 is scheduled to reopen Friday, July 23, at 4 p.m.
