Secretary of Defense to visit Wright-Patt on Friday

The Secretary of Defense will visit Wright-Patterson Air Force Base on Friday, according to an advisory from the Department of Defense.

Secretary Mark T. Esper will stop at both Wright-Patt and the University of Louisville on Friday, the advisory states.

At Wright-Patt, Esper will be joined by Rep. Mike Turner, R-Dayton. Esper will meet with senior defense officials at Wright-Patt and will host a town hall with local service members and their families, according to the advisory.

After visiting Wright-Patt, Esper plans to host another town hall at the University of Louisville with the Fort Knox community leaders. He will be joined at the university by U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Louisville, according to the advisory.
