Ramp closures starting tonight on I-75; ramp closures planned

Montgomery County — The placement of asphalt will cause a nightly ramp closure in both directions of Interstate 75 at Stanley Avenue.

The closures will begin at 11 p.m. tonight, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation. These ramp closures will be in effect nightly between the hours of 11 pm and 5 am, but will not be closed at the same time. The ramps will reopen at 5 a.m. June 4.

ODOT suggests the following detour:

•I-75 North to Stanley: I-75 north to Wagner Ford to I-75 south to Stanley

•I-75 south to Stanley: I-75 south to Main Street to I-75 north to Stanley Avenue

In the meantime, an alignment change of the I-75 northbound ramp to Main Street and the placement of a sign truss in the area will cause lane closures in the northbound lanes of I-75 between Third and Main Streets.

These closures begin 9 p.m. Wednesday and will reopen 6 a.m. Thursday.

In addition to the lane closures, the ramp from I-75 northbound to Main Street will also be closed between the hours of 11 pm and 5 am.

One southbound lane of I-75 will be closed between Main Street and Riverview Avenue between the hours of 9 pm and 2 am. There will also be a brief 15 minute closure will take place on I-75 southbound at 11 pm.
