SPRINGFIELD - Charles Anderson, 27, address unknown, was arrested on a burglary charge after allegedly breaking into a home on Lagonda Avenue on Friday.
According to police, Anderson broke a window to get into the home and removed several items between 10:30 a.m. and noon. Two children were in the home at the time, but hid in an upstairs closet, reports said.
A police officer reportedly spotted Anderson near Main Street and Lagonda Avenue with the stolen items. He was placed in the Clark County Jail.
Man accused of punching officer
Curtis Reynolds, 54, of 1015 Lagonda Ave., was arrested on charges of assault and resisting arrest Saturday after he allegedly assaulted his roommate’s daughter and her friend.
According to police, the victim had asked Reynolds to turn down the television volume when Reynolds came upstairs and used a throwing dart to threaten her. Reynolds also reportedly hit the daughter with a lamp and threatened her and her friend with a gun.
A Springfield police officer waiting to arrest Reynolds at Springfield Regional Medical Center reported that Reynolds resisted arrest, punching the officer in the face before being handcuffed.
Burglary charge
Annette Ewers, 49, of 35 N. Greenmount Ave., was arrested and charged with aggravated burglary after allegedly entering without permission the residence of a man she knows and removing a television and DVD player Saturday night. She was ordered into court.
Teen arrested
A 14-year-old female was arrested on charges of assault and resisting arrest Sunday afternoon at the Oesterlen Center, 1918 Mechanisburg Road.
According to police, the juvenile hit and scratched a woman who works at the center. When police arrived, the juvenile resisted arrest and said she would beat up the officer.
The teen was taken to the Clark County Juvenile Detention Center.
Woman arrested
Khali Smith, 35, address at large, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence Sunday after allegedly pulling his live-in girlfriend’s hair and punching her following an argument. He was placed in the Clark County Jail.
Assault charge
Katrina Thompson, 33, of 1325 Lamar Drive, was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of assault Sunday morning after allegedly busting her boyfriend’s lip. She was ordered into court.

A woman in the 500 block of South Hubert Avenue reported dishes, furniture and yard ornaments, valued at $685, stolen from her residence between noon and 1 p.m. June 7.
• A woman in the 600 block of East Madison Avenue reported cameras, valued at $800, stolen from her residence between June 8 and 8 a.m. Friday.
• A woman in the 500 block of Rice Street reported 26 pairs of shoes, valued at $1,300, stolen from her residence between 1:30 and 4:30 p.m Friday.
• A woman in the 2400 block of Dellwood Drive reported a Kindle Touch and two gaming systems, valued at $650, stolen from her residence between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Friday.
• A woman in the 1100 block of McCain Avenue reported a television, valued at $700, stolen from her residence between 6 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Friday.
• A woman in the 100 block of North Arlington Avenue reported a dirt bike, chain saws and a climbing harness, valued at $1,125, stolen from her residence between 9 and 9:20 p.m. Friday.
• A man in the 1600 block of Lagonda Avenue reported various tools, valued at $1,925, stolen from his residence between 11:30 and 11:40 a.m. Saturday.
• A man in the 2200 block of East High Street reported a computer, digital camera and phone, valued at $899, stolen from his residence between 10:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. Sunday.
• A man in the 400 block of South Limestone Street reported a television, valued at $533, from his residence between 6 and 10:50 p.m. Sunday.
• A woman in the 900 block of James Street reported two televisions and gaming systems, valued at $1,100, stolen from her residence between 10 p.m. Saturday and 5:40 a.m. Sunday.
• A woman in the 2400 block of Dellwood Drive reported gaming systems, a laptop computer, cameras and jewelry, valued at $2,300, stolen from her residence between 6:30 and 10:30 p.m. Sunday.
