UPDATE @ 10 p.m.: Police are now saying no stabbing occurred on Grant Street in Springfield tonight. 

No further information is available.

Police are investigating a report of a stabbing in the 800 block of Grant Street in Springfield. 

The incident was reported about 8:45 p.m. and we're told police are on scene. 

We're working to find out details about the incident. We will update this developing report as information becomes available.
