The band will be back at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26 as part of the Wake the Lake event at the Clark County Fairgrounds. The show will be on the fairgrounds grandstand; tickets cost $5 general admission and $10 VIP.
MarketFEST ’17 will round out the concerts, 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7 adjacent to the Heritage Center of Clark County, 117 S. Fountain Ave. That event is also free.

“We’re always looking forward to coming home,” said Hasting. “It’s always exciting to play in the area.”
The street fair is a special event to Hasting. She and bandmate Josh Beale try to get back to when possible.
“I used to drive through North Hampton every day on my way to school,” she said. “The Lions Club has always been good to us and it’s close enough my grandparents can come to it.”

Wake the Lake, a powerboat racing grand prix, is making its first appearance in Springfield Friday through Sunday. The band was asked to perform, giving Hasting a chance to return to another old haunt.
“I grew up in 4-H and Future Farmers of America and I have some of my best memories of the Clark County Fair,” said Hasting. “This is like a hometown celebration.”
She and Beale checked out a Wake the Lake event in Nashville to get themselves acquainted with it and they think it will be a good addition to area activities.
It will also be a special show as the band’s management and public relations associates will take time from a busy schedule to check out them out on home turf.
Opening the show will be Ty Cooper, an Americana soul singer/songwriter. Cooper, a Southeastern High graduate, and Hasting have long been acquainted and she said it’s always good to perform on the same bill.
Springfield has become Beale’s home away from home. He grew up in Wisconsin and looks forward to returning here almost as much as Hasting.
“Kate’s family has adopted me, so it’s always fun to get back to the farm,” Beale said. “It’s a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Nashville.”
Beale has met enough people here he can now call them old friends after traveling to Springfield for five years now.
“It feels weird when Josh isn’t there,” Hasting added.
Besides performing hits like “Behind the Bleachers” and fun medley/mash-ups, Hasting and Beale will perform new songs at Wake the Lake from their forthcoming EP, “Can’t Get Enough,” which will be released in October.
Beale mentioned one of the songs was written with country legend Pam Tillis.
The band will round out its area shows at the MarketFEST ’17, a new event that is part of the Springfield Farmers Market season.
“These shows will all be neat for the community,” said Beale.
The band will stay busy into the fall in Nashville with an EP release party and perform a benefit concert with country superstar Colin Raye for the Firefighter Behavioral Health Alliance, which helps firefighters and military members with PTSD.
