2 motorcycles crash in Clark County, medical helicopter responds

A motorcyclist lost control and crashed, which caused a second motorcyclist to also lose control Monday evening when he tried to avoid it.

Both of the men, who were wearing helmets, crashed into a tree line shortly before 5 p.m. off South Tecumseh Road about a quarter mile south of Rebert Pike.

One man was flown to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, and the other man was taken by ambulance to an area hospital, crews on scene said.

Their names and conditions were not known.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.

A medical helicopter also was called to a second crash involving a motorcycle.

A car and motorcycle collided around 5 p.m. in the area of Ohio 235 and Christiansburg-Jackson Road in Champaign County, according to the Champaign County Sheriff’s Office.
